Single-occupancy downstairs room for rent in a family home, where a couple of grumpy old-school veterans live. No pets (allergies), and no druggies/drunks/smokers (same reason, plus…FAMILY home). The deposit is also the last month’s rent, for a 6-month lease, that may be extended to month-to-month once it is up. The idea is to provide a fairly cheap place you can use as a base to find an apartment or house of your own, or just to finish off a semester of school. Hot tub on premises, as well as laundry and the usual household amenities. All utilities are included in the rent, easy peasy. The house itself has bedrooms, and a private master bath, so you will only really notice anybody else if you go out of your way to do so.
