Hello! Room available in a 2br upstairs unit in the Elmwood Manor Apartments. Located across the street from beautiful Highland Park. Easy drive (6min), bus or bike to UR & URMC. Room is ~ ten x ten with wood floors, one window and large closet (see floor plan image). Open to short term stays (for visiting nurses or research fellows) as well as longer stays (for medical residents, graduate students, or working professionals). Rent includes utilities. Room can be unfurnished or partly/fully furnished (does not currently have a bed). Photos of interior forthcoming.

I am a teacher and performing artist in my mid-forties, newish to Rochester having previously lived in LA and Minneapolis. I am going back to school in January so looking for a wonderful roommate to help share rent. Must be a dog lover - I have a delightful goldendoodle who can't wait to be your best friend! (She lives with me part time and goes to her other home when I am at work/school.) I am politically left and have always lived and worked in diverse communities. LGBQTIA, BIPOC and neurodivergent friendly home!

Elmwood is an entire block of brick apartments with large green courtyards and a community garden. Apartments are safe, clean, well maintained, with responsive staff. Free outdoor parking.
