Moving to Columbus--Soonest!

I''m just a regular guy. Pretty easy going, definitely liberal so please, if you listen to the news and think "wow, things are going great," pass me by. I work in restaurants and am relocating to C'bus from various other parts of the country, most recently my home town of Athens, OH. I am mostly looking for short-ish term lease to get my feet wet and explore the Columbus area for more permanent digs. I am not opposed to having a roommate long term though, if the situation seems simpatico. I would like to move as soon as possible. Starting a new job this week (06.29) in Columbus and not looking forward to a commute. I am pretty introverted when home, though not anti-social. I just work with the public so my social battery can be pretty full (or is that empty?) in my off time. I do cook for my self (and maybe you sometimes) rather than eat or order out. I keep pretty clean, neat and tidy as this just makes life a LOT less stressful. A lot of off days will be spent hiking somewhere or else visiting back with my parents a little ways south of the 'bus. Thanks for taking the time, and please let me know if you have a room for me!!
