Hey there seekers. here in West Oakland- at the tip of downtown and Uptown Oakland. Renting out my master bedroom in bath townhouse that’s technically three stories. High ceilings throughout with hardwood floors downstairs and soft carpet upstairs. Washer & dryer in unit. I am renting it out for the month of NOVEMBER only. I am charging $ plus $ for a fully refundable cleaning deposit. doing a bit of traveling and will be gone. There is a possibility of longer stay downstairs in the living room (which has a massive soft sectional) that people have rented out before in the past. Possibility of month additional stay depending on if well, ya know. If you seem on the up and up, are a straight shooter and are dependable and a good communicator. Not much to ask. Price will be negotiable if wanting to stay longer. I work in hospitality management and consulting and other roommate works in the medical field and is gone most evenings (perfect for someone working a job). He has been here a couple years and myself for years now. He is the perfect roommate in my opinion. Super cordial when you see him but mostly keeps to himself in his room. Sporadically uses the kitchen and NEVER is downstairs in the big living room we have. So essentially youd have 2 spaces to yourself- my bedroom and downstairs living room. Covered garage with room for one MOTORCYLCE due to limited capacity. A space may open up before move in date of November 1st but I don’t know. But you can use the garage to bring in groceries, work on your car or store a few thing in etc
As you can see from the photos- room is VERY large (maybe sq. ft) and is two levels up from ground floor. Bathroom is right outside the door also. Clean and well kept. Super centrally located if using a car. The list is too long to describe all the freeways, bus lines and train lines around me but trust me- its amazing to have so many options. BART is a min walk.
