Lease end in mid June. Here's why rent is so cheap: ive taken over my brother leash because him and his family were struggling financially, and they have moved in with my grandma. He is all the utilities and half the rent. Rent total is $800 so I pay $200 and you pay $200. Now, I am rather persnickety when it comes to people my age, and you'll have to pass the vibe check. I am looking for a roommate who is not overly consumerist. What does that mean? Green flags: -Can tolerate silence and boredom
-Has creative outlets -Capable of sustained reading
-Serviceable attention span Red flags: -On your phone ALWAYS
-Needs constant noise (music, podcast, tv show)
-Doesn't create, only consumes -"I ain't reading all that!"
-Goldfish attention span I'm fully aware of how weird being and i dont care. This is my house and i refuse to be around that stereotypical Gen Z who can't be without their phone for more than 20 minutes and doesn't do anything with themselves. If you spend more then two hours a day on social media stay the hell away from me.
