Private room for rent - Clinton, MD Hi! I am looking for a roommate to share this house with! I recently moved in so I am still in the progress of unpacking. The total rent is $2500, so we would split it 50/50, each $1250 per month. The house is three levels: the main floor, upstairs, and basement. My bedroom is on the main floor. Your room/s would be the upstairs which includes two large and partially separated spaces (great for a bedroom side and a den or home office side), your own bathroom, and a sliding door where you can walk out onto the roof. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Water is not paid for as it is well water. Utilities not included in rent are electric, propane, and wifi. Lawn care and maintenance are done by the on grounds care taker. The house is a ways off the road, is quiet, and great if you want to leave near the city but have a little quiet haven. A car would probably be needed for transportation. About me: The house is pet friendly, and I currently have my dog, a foster dog, and cats. I’m open to you having pets if they at least tolerate other animals. I work full time and work from home 3 days a week and in the office 2 days a week (Monday-Friday). I am in school part time to get my masters in social work. I enjoy movies (especially horror), reading, fishing, hiking, camping, gardening, and doing arts and crafts. Hopes for a roommate: We don’t have to be best friends, but I’d love to have a roommate who would want to be friends or at least we can have a friendly coexistence. Must be LGBTQ+ friendly and I am open to a roommate of any gender. I am working collaboratively with the owner to find a roommate, so potential persons will be referred to her to do her screenings.
