January move in, Old man kitty

A little about me: I have a rescue kitty. He’s an old man and sleeps all day, loves to cuddle (he’s watching me as I type this). I have no problem keeping him in my room at all times if needed and he does not scratch anything except his cat post, he’s very well mannered! My new job will be almost completely remote so I will be home a lot. I’ve lived in houses with others in college for 2 years and have been renting an apartment in sacramento, ca for 1 year. I am reliable on making rent and helping out with household chores.

In my spare time, I love to go out in nature and explore new places, try new things, go on hikes, hang out with my friends, sew, anything crafty or DIY. I also attend festivals and love edm (experimental bass, dnb, house, etc.).

In my career life I enjoy contributing to nonprofit work and sustainability efforts. I previously served in Americorps from teaching youth STEAM education. Currently, I organize marginalized communities to advocate for affordable housing and break transportation barriers. My new role will be my final year of Americorps to build a workforce development center for an underserved city in colorado.

Since I will be doing my final year of Americorps, I will have a government stipend that does not go far. This is why I am reaching out in hopes that someone may be renting a room.
I would be so grateful as this last year of serving will help me afford my masters degree🫶🏼
