Looking for Room -year

Hi everyone! My move-in date is end of April or end of May at the latest. I'm a YO female looking for a private room in Manhattan (-year). I also have an pound Shih Tzu—people always tell me he’s the best behaved dog they’ve ever seen. He’s trained, super sweet, and would spend most of his time in my room. My budget is $/month but would be flexible for the right people/place.

I’m open to anywhere in Manhattan but would also definitely consider LIC or Astoria. My ideal situation would be living with cool, clean girls who I can be friends with, but who also respect privacy and personal space. I love going out to try new bars and restaurants, but also enjoy quiet time at home.

The only challenge I’ve come across is that I don’t meet a lot of the typical landlord requirements here since I’ve been living in Hong Kong the past few years. That said, I’m super responsible, trustworthy, and professional. Just trying to figure out what my options are given the circumstances, so if anyone has advice, I’d REALLY appreciate it!
