Vegan-Friendly Room for Rent in Aspley, Brisbane!

Hey there! I'm looking to fill a fully furnished room in my granny flat-style space. Located in Aspley, Brisbane, this peaceful household is shared with me (and my upstairs flatmate) – we’re both vegans and nurses.

I'm looking for someone who appreciates having their own space but is also open to the occasional chat or shared meal. I love experimenting with new vegan recipes, so there may be opportunities to share a meal together! But if you're more of an independent type, that's perfectly fine too. It's all about having a peaceful, respectful environment where everyone feels comfortable.

A bit about the house:

I have 2 lovely cats (who may pop by for a visit if you're okay with that) and 3 backyard chickens. Please note, the chickens are fully free-range and do not lay eggs, in line with our vegan lifestyle.
The room is fully furnished with a queen bed and includes utilities (electricity, WiFi, water).
I take care of lawn mowing and backyard maintenance.
A fully equipped kitchenette with a cooktop, air fryer, mini-fridge, and microwave is yours to use. I also have a coffee pod machine with compostable pods and a stainless steel reusable pod.
Storage space outside the bathroom is available, with additional hanging racks if needed.
No air conditioning, but the room stays cool thanks to ceiling fans and plenty of windows.
I'm looking for someone who's as eco-conscious as possible and loves animals. Composting is a big part of our household, so you'll need to be comfortable putting food scraps in a compost caddy. The household is quiet, and we'd love to have someone who aligns with our values.

The room is available from start of March to the end of June th as I will be heading overseas and needing house pet sitters in for a month from then.

No smoking, no other pets sorry as don't want to stress out my animals that I have. Carpark available. Photos are of the granny flat area only.
