Hello! My name is Rodrigo Maia, and I’m a high school literature teacher relocating to San Francisco from Austin, TX. Outside of teaching, I’m a writer, poet, and lyricist, and I love art in all its forms. In my free time, you’ll usually find me singing, watching movies, or enjoying good, thoughtful conversations.
I’m a Brazilian native who has lived in the U.S. for many years, now excited to start this next chapter in SF. I’m a cisgender gay man in my 40s, looking for a peaceful, cozy place to call home—ideally in a walkable neighborhood close to cafes and bookshops.
