AVAILABLE NOW! One large, sunny, private, and furnished bedroom in a 3-bedroom apartment shared with 2 other adult gay men in Hamilton Heights (uptown Manhattan). Shared spaces: 1. bathroom, 2. living room, 3. kitchen (kitchen for light use only; not for serious, daily, cooking). Dishwasher + washer/dryer unit are in the apartment and available for use Window AC is installed from May 15 to Sept. 30. Electricity cost will go way up and that's ok, just be prepared. ===============
WHAT TO EXPECT The apartment is pretty quiet, low-key, with very infrequent visitors, and never overnight guests. Also, no pets, no smoking, no vaping, and no work from home. I'm the one working from home and the place is not big enough for two, sorry. Ideal candidate: 1. clean --> e.g.: return shared spaces and items used to a clean, orderly condition, ready for the next person 2. responsible --> e.g.: rent is paid on time, without being asked; shared items, tools are used with care so they don't break prematurely 3. respectful --> e.g.: be kind, compassionate and slow to cast judgment, or say hurtful things 4. gregarious --> e.g.: for the occasional evening with pizza and wine 5. team player --> e.g.: shared living comes with shared responsibility, including cleaning the bathroom on a rotating basis 6. light traveler --> e.g.: the apartment is fully furnished and has room only for you and your clothes. Items such as furniture, appliances, cookware, etc. must be kept in off- storage ============
