I have a furnished or unfurnished queen bedroom with a large walk-in closet and private bathroom in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood where neighbors are all friendly. 3 min from highway and grocery stores. 2 story house with bedrooms upstairs and an open, comfortable living space downstairs. The home is fully furnished and decorated with art, books, and concert posters. The kitchen is fully equipped for actual cooking (which I do quite a bit of), and shared spaces include a large living room, dining area, breakfast bar, and yard. Parking out front is always available. Large backyard has a pool, fun floats, covered patio, shaded seating areas, lounge chairs, fire pit, BBQ, and plenty of space to unwind. Rent includes high-speed Wi-Fi, utilities, and some streaming services. I handle pool maintenance, landscaping, HVAC care, etc, and supply basics like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies. Sheets and towels can also be provided if needed. A bit about me: I run my own marketing business and work from home part of the time. I’m friendly, communicative, and value a calm household where people clean up after themselves within a reasonable timeframe. I enjoy yoga, stretching, swimming, tennis and music. I have a very sweet senior dog (mostly naps, some snacks) and I’m currently caring for a fluffy orange cat for a friend. Being comfortable around pets is important. If you have pet experience and are open to occasionally helping out when I travel, discounted rent is available. I’m looking for an independent, respectful roommate who treats the house like a shared home, communicates directly, and has a life outside their bedroom/the home. Verifiable income is required, and please have your own vehicle. I've instituted a refundable $ cleaning deposit to keep move-out simple and stress-free to cover professional cleaning unless the room is returned in the condition as move-in (has never happened). Lease is required - timeframe negotiable.
