Hi! I’m looking for a housemate for the 3rd floor bedroom to hopefully move in around September 1st or October 1st. It’s a newly renovated room, $ a month, and looks out into Belmont Hills and gets beautiful sunsets. The home is located in Manayunk, but we regularly take the train right into center city- and the train station is just one block from my house. The house is also right by Main St. where there’s lots of coffee shops and nightlife. We have one dog named Violet and two cats named Sheldon and Marbles. We are looking for a housemate who is respectful, clean, and does not smoke/vape. Let me know if you’d be interested!

There is a large living room with hardwood floors, a kitchen with modern appliances, granite countertops, and a vaulted ceiling with skylights, a large basement with plenty of storage, a peaceful backyard deck, and a side alley that can be available for bike/scooter parking. There is also a laundry area with a free cloths washer and dryer.-THE LOCATION: Located on a quiet Manayunk street. Just a 5-minute walk to the Main Street, SEPTA train station, Schuylkill River, Bridge Trailhead, and more. It's an urban experience with a small-town charm.-THE ROOM: This private bedroom is on the 1st floor. It is over feet, has VERY high ceilings, a large closet, 2 built-in storage cabinets, central heating, overhead lights, ceiling fan, and its own lock and key.-THE COST: Rent is $ per month with a -month lease. Alternatively, a monthly lease is available for 5% more which gives the flexibility to move any time by providing a -day notice. Utilities are $ per person per month and include Gas, Water, Electricity, Fiber Internet, Ethernet Hookups, Ring security, and Professional House Cleaning each month for all shared spaces.-THE ROOMMATES: Everyone is a working professional so the house is pretty quiet. We're friendly, and considerate, and keep shared spaces clean and tidy. All genders welcome and 🏳️‍🌈 LGBT+ friendly! Unfortunately, no pets. MANAYUNK area, walking distance to Main Street. 1 room available in a 4-story single standing home with a driveway, yard, pool and quiet neighborhood. The room has a good size closet (in pics), stone wall. The room is on the 2nd floor and close to the main bathroom. I have a large 3rd floor room I stay in a few times a year, I don't reside in Philadephia full time but I come back to enjoy the home and take care of the property. There are 2 new roomates, one on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd. One guy is and the other guy is , quiet, professional, don't smoke and are very nice. I would want their approval. They both signed 6 months with month to month thereafter. The house is very unique and about two hundred years old. I am open to a month lease or longer potentially and/or month to month. All utilities included including washer, dryer, WiFi etc. 3 Blink doorbell/cameras on the outside, one camera monitoring the driveway but in nearly twenty years of ownership I have never had any crime. I know most of the neighbors, who are great. It is on an off-street, little traffic and it is very quiet. There is a smart lock on the door. The driveway parks 4 cars comfortably and can fit up to 8 in a crunch!
